Courtney is a mom to three girls, Army spouse, and the owner of Simple Mama Virtual Assistance. She has a bachelor’s degree in music education and taught in the public schools for 8 years before transitioning to a career as a virtual assistant due to job opportunity and lack of childcare at their new duty station in Fort Irwin, CA.
Since relocating, Courtney has met many other military spouses who are unable to work due to lack of childcare and job opportunities. She grew her business to provide more remote work options for military spouses because she believes it’s important for all spouses to have financial and professional fulfillment.
This business began from the necessity to build a career that didn't have to halt every time our service member needed to relocate, but this business thrives because we are committed to helping each other and the businesses we work with achieve success.
